Believing Women.. In Conversation is a ministry tool based on what I have been doing all of my life, that of having conversations with women.
Moved by the Holy Spirit, I am now expanding the vision of what I know is needed; meaningful conversation between women that will foster an atmosphere of self-worth and healing.
Introductions are necessary before people can move forward in any relationship, so I will begin with what I think is important for you to know about me.
I have been married for 42 years to Jack, we have two daughters, two son-in-laws, and six grandchildren. We are a family that is rich in love, creating a full and joyful environment. We have moved many times throughout our married life, but now call Georgia home.
My love of people, most especially women, has been important to me my whole life. I can look back to my early twenties and see how I was cultivating relationships with women of all ages. I loved hearing their stories and they loved sharing them. They gravitated to me, and I to them.
As a member of a Christian church I have been blessed to hear the Word of God taught with love, passion, truth, and accountability. As a result I have experienced deep spiritual growth in my personal faith, with an even deeper abiding knowledge of God.
All of this has attributed to a need to walk out my calling and fulfill my purpose. This call to fulfill my destiny has found me leading women in ministry, including Bible studies, in small groups, women's retreats, as well as pursuing time with women individually.
The objective of this blog, "Believing Women in Conversation" is to inspire women to gather, using their voices to speak life and godliness.
