If you have ever been to a chiropractor, then you understand the delicate balance between proper alignment, and its benefit to your overall health. In fact, some of these specialists will tell you that proper alignment is really a preventive measure that has long—term results.
Chiropractic care is a new thing to me, but I have experienced firsthand what being in proper alignment truly means to how I feel, move, and think. I know it may sound funny to say that being out of alignment can affect our thinking, but actually maybe it’s not. When we are lined up physically, emotionally, and spiritually it becomes obvious. It is like a car that you will hear someone say is firing on all cylinders.
When we are in alignment with God’s Word, professing our agreement with those very words, then we will see how they overlap into all the areas of our lives. Our alignment with God will affect our relationships, it will affect how we view ourselves, certainly how we view others, and likewise affect our willingness to walk into areas that are yet unknown.
There are times when we may feel that God is having to move things around a bit to get us into the alignment that will position us for what we need to do. In the long run, His ever gentle handling of us will accomplish all that is necessary. We need to just say yes Lord, we are confident in Your ability.
Romans 12:1-2 ESV I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
