I love this question! As with most that I have shared in this blog, it does indeed start with me. I have written what I believe has been relevant to my walk, and have hoped that it has spoken to something in you.
Let me say that at this point in my life, I do expect to receive answers to the questions that I take to God. I expect that His Spirit will bring understanding based on His timing, not my own. On Friday when I asked the Lord a question, I received my answer fairly quickly, and by that evening I knew my way forward.
I launched this blog on January 19, 2018, and with today’s post I have written 463 messages. It started in obedience to what the Holy Spirit was speaking at that time, and it will end with that same obedience. Consequently, this will be the final post for ‘Believing Women in Conversation.’
To my readers in the United States, Canada, England, Scotland, Ireland, india, Russia, Vietnam, and Jamaica I am grateful! You have all been a blessing to me as I have endeavored to bring us to a place where the Holy Spirit was leading.
The other day I heard someone ask a question that I thought was appropriate for today. Do you think it is possible that what you are becoming in the process is actually more important than the process itself? When I think on who we become in the process, regardless of what that process happens to be, it really does change our view of the process itself. For me the process has been a blog, for you perhaps it is a vocation, a ministry, or whatever else has had a strong presence in your life.
As a person who loves to write, is it possible that the changes in me are even more important than the words themselves? I realize that I have matured with each post, and that maturity changes a person. I am more confident that I hear from God, and I trust that He will equip me for wherever He takes me. Essentially, I have gone from believing to knowing deep within my soul that God is faithful!
There really are many things that my heart would say to you all, but I believe you already know my heart. By reading my posts you have seen my personal growth in many areas. I know that we have not been able to sit and have the conversations one on one that I would desire, but I sincerely believe that we could sit and share openly. We are not strangers to each other anymore, and perhaps one day we shall meet. I send my love to you, Believing Women in Conversation, be well and stay the course.
May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand. May the wind be aways at your back. xo
Ephesians 4:2: “Be completely humble and gentle, bearing with one another in love.” 1 Peter 4:8: “Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.” John 15:12: “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.”
