You and I must be in agreement with God’s Word. This must be our stand in every area of our lives, and although it may sound daunting, it actually makes everything so easy. When you know what is expected, then it takes away any doubt.
When are girls were young they always knew what was expected of them. They understood what was allowed, and what was not. What was obedience, and what was disobedience in the eyes of their parents. They are grown women now with children of their own, and they will say how easy it was knowing what was expected of them. They did not have to guess.
We walk the same line as children of God. The Bible clearly tells us what is pleasing to God, and what is not. We don’t have to guess.
For the children of God this election was not about guessing. We know by God’s very character what is pleasing to Him and what is not. We can not say that we did not know that God does not sanction abortion. His Word makes His position very clear.
I expected this post to be all about celebrating a win, and it certainly is all of that. Likewise, it became about the need to understand what is expected of us. We belong to God, not to the devil. This election is not about a move of man, it is all about a move of God.
A God move for a people who have turned their back on His ways when we did not stand up for what we knew did not please Him. A people who for far too long walked a politically correct path because this is what man said was necessary to make peace. A people who have finally woken up to the reality that you can’t please man and God.
This election is all about God’s mercy on a nation that has allowed a detestable act to exist for 47 years. It is about the 60 million lives that have been lost. It is about taking back a nation and declaring God is above all else. It is about taking back a nation and declaring that what God says matters more to us than what any man could ever say.
Why are we poised for our victory lap? Because a holy and just God is looking out for us, and is responding to our repentant hearts.
Isaiah 32:16-18 Then justice will inhabit the wilderness, and righteousness will dwell in the orchard. The result of righteousness will be peace; the effect of righteousness will be quiet confidence forever. Then my people will dwell in a peaceful place, in safe and secure dwellings.
