Our lives are a living testimony to the goodness of God. This is not something that is new, and I am not the first person to say it. We often hear it said by an individual who has been though a trial, and has survived! They are apt to tell others that without God they would not have made it through, and that they feel more blessed because of their trial. Although, it may be hard to believe, it is true.
We are changed when we witness the power of God in our lives. It changes us, but it also changes everyone who bears witness to what God is doing for us. In fact, the power of God is extended far beyond us when we allow others to walk in agreement. When we share the intimate workings of our lives with others it is not about merely passing them information. It is so that they can be a witness to a testimony that is being built.
God is performing miracles every day, but if we choose not to share the details of those miracles, we miss an opportunity to impact the lives of others. However, there may be times when the Holy Spirit will not release you to share immediately. God knows when the timing is best, so we must be awake to His promptings. Once again is it about listening and obedience.
Acts 22:14 CSB And he said, “The God of our ancestors has appointed you to know His will, to see the Righteous One, and to hear the words from His mouth, since you will be a witness for Him to all people of what you have seen and heard.
