Do you have the courage to run to the roar?

I heard an interesting teaching this morning that I want to share in part. It was about the hunting practices of lions.

We know that it is the female, the lioness, who does the actual hunting because they are built for speed, and accuracy. They are fearless as they hunt, executing a plan, and then engaging with their prey.

On a side note this clearly defines many of the women that I know, and admire. They move quickly, doing whatever is necessary to maintain stability in their households. They epitomize a woman that all women of faith should be familiar with, of course, I am speaking of the Proverb 31 woman.

During the hunting process, the female lion does not roar, that is left to the male. The male positions himself on one end of the savanna, while the females are positioned strategically on the other side. The male roars, and when he does the animals react in fear and run. Where do they run? Precisely to where the females are waiting for them. They thought they were escaping the danger, but no. The unsuspecting prey become the victims, just as planned. The roar got their attention, they reacted to its aggressiveness, and they easily became the victims.

Let’s talk about the believer. Believers should be running into the battle, not from the battle. We are called to run to the roar. Do not allow the roar to bring intimation, fear, and instability. Don’t be mislead and go to a place where the enemy is waiting for you. It is his plan.

Be strong in the Lord! Aggressively use your position, your advantage, as a child of God to silence the enemies roar as you activate faith, and authority.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. Before that day comes the rebellion must occur and the outlaw—the destructive son—will be revealed in his true light. He is the opposing counterpart who exalts himself over everything that is called “God” or is worshipped and who sits enthroned in God’s temple and makes himself out to be a god.

Who are they really after?

Have you given up the fight?
