God has not called us to stand alone. We are to stand together in such a way that compels others to stand with us, and to know what is being spoken. When the people of God use the truth that they stand upon to speak that truth into the lives of others, they are using their iron to sharpen iron. It is their truth being used to cause others to seek and understand their own truth, God’s truth.
To be honest this can sometimes be painful to hear, but hear we must, always remembering that truth alone sets us free from lies.
Proverbs 27:17 It takes a grinding wheel to sharpen a blade, and so one person sharpens the character of another.
