There are some Christians who have not had an eye exam in some time. They have continued wearing the old lenses of the past, and have refused to allow the fresh revelation of the Holy Spirit bring them needed insight. Therefore, they have been ineffectual because they have neglected to fully immerse themselves in the truth of God’s Word over their lives. Holy Spirit alone brings truth, clarity, and corrects blurred vision.
We know that the enemy seeks to blind the children of God from seeing the vision and destiny that God has declared over them from before the foundation of the world. Why? Because he knows if he does this then they will not walk in the fulness of God.
We must always seek to discern what we are seeing by the Spirit of God, or we shall never have a clear picture of truth, and only truth is able to set us free.
Luke 11:34-35 “The eyes of the spirit allow revelation—light to enter into your being. When your heart if open the light floods in. When your heart is hard and closed, the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes its place. Open your heart and consider My words. Watch out that you do not mistake your opinions for revelation—light. If your spirit burns with light, fully illuminated with no trace of darkness, you will be a shining lamp, reflecting rays of truth by the way you live.”
