I will put it the way it was spoken to me. The watchmen have left their post because of political correctness. They have been forced out by the very institution that sought to place them on the wall in the first place. Now they are being told that their time has gone, and that they are no longer relevant. This does not sound like the Jesus that we know. Jesus spoke in love, but always He spoke truth.
Jesus was not politically correct. He did not shy away from issues, nor did He speak what was not spoken by His Father. Jesus did not, and would not, allow a wrong ideology, behavior, or the public consciousness be in direct opposition to truth sit comfortably unchallenged in the square. Jesus spoke what was unpopular without fear of retribution. He was not concerned about being popular, trendy, or an influencer. Jesus was on assignment and that assignment was to set people free, not further enslave them to lies. Lies the enemy uses to rob them of their identity in Christ.
Isaiah 62:6 Jerusalem, I have stationed intercessors on your walls who will never be silent, day or night. You “reminders” of Yahweh, take no rest, and tirelessly give God no rest, until He firmly establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of all the earth!
Ephesians 4:15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our love as we express the truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into Him, the anointed Head of His body, the church.
