Are you being asked to take a stand?

There is rarely a time when God does not ask His people to take a stand. Although, God is big enough to defend Himself, strong enough to fight off a multitude of enemies, He wants us taking a stand with Him in agreement. Clearly, if agreement is important to the Creator, then it better be important to us.

When we take a stand with God we are not doing so passively. This is not a stand that should ever be seen for anything other than what it is, the absolute truth. We honor God’s Word and we take a stand in agreement with that Word.

For some of us taking a strong stand with God will be one that has us standing against people that we love. It has us taking a stand, within a stand, that will not allow us to waver, or slide off the mark. In other words, we are firmly planted, not in pride or arrogance, but in truth.

Ephesians 6:13-15 TPT Because os this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things, and will rise victorious. Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart. Stand on you feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.
