I was reading in Jeremiah 29 where God makes a promise to the exiles living in Babylon. He says in verse 13, “Then (with deep longing) you will seek Me and require Me (as a vital necessity) and (you will) find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
God is the very breath that we take, without which we can not live. Word longing in this passage speaks so powerfully to me. This longing of the Lord can not be compared to anything else that we desire in this world. The longing of the Lord takes us to a level that is beyond this world, for it takes us into the very throne room of God.
Ask the Holy Spirit to give you the imagery that will take you deeper, wider, and into the full knowledge of the Father and how He truly is a vital necessity. Hallelujah Lord Jesus!
Genesis 2:7 Amplified Bible then the Lord God formed (that is, created the body of) man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being (an individual complete in body and spirit).
