There will come a day, if it has not already, when this question will be asked. You will be noticeably missed. You may have been gone a long time, but a day will come when those that didn’t understand you, or rejected you, will wonder where you have gone. When you left they were oblivious to your absence, but then one day they noticed you were gone. Their eyes see what they were blind to before because something is changing in them.
The children of God carry what those who have not been redeemed do not. We carry the Holy Spirit, while those in the world do not. We are light and they are dark. I know that this is a hard thing to hear, but it is true. You and I are different. Even knowing this, it remains difficult because we are called to love everyone. It is heartbreaking to think of those we love as being full of darkness, but here cannot exist light and dark together. You have light because you have Jesus, or you have darkness because your father is a deceiver. You have the Spirit of God residing in you, or you have an unredeemed spirit.
1 John 1:5 This is the life—giving message we heard him share and it’s still ringing in our ears. We now repeat his words to you: God is pure light. You will never find even a trace of darkness in him.
