Many years ago, actually decades now, I asked Holy Spirit to guide me in connecting what I saw with what He was saying. For me, it was a very clear request. Let me see a picture emerging that brings forth clarity and purpose. Holy Spirit did not hold back from my request.
Holy Spirit used people, circumstances, often impressions, to bring forth revelation. This revelation always lined up with God’s Word. It was through His revelation that I saw a complete picture of what Holy Spirit wanted me to understand. It remains the same today. Holy Spirit shows me where to look and He brings revelation knowledge, and understanding, to what I am seeing.
God’s Word, the logos (written word), and the Holy Spirit work together to speak forth continual truths that we absolutely need to understand. God’s Word and Holy Spirit are one. They will never contradict each other. God’s truth, reality, brings into alignment all that we need and desire.
When truth is our reality then we won’t pay attention to the things of this world. Things that are merely disruptors, or distractors, any more than we have to. Instead, we will see God’s reality, His truth, lead and guide us into deeper revelation of Jesus. Expect the Holy Spirit to bring all things together for you as you seek His deeper understanding.
