Is prayer carrying you?

It is never easy to go through something that is difficult! How is that for the obvious? Whether is be health, finances, or any of life’s challenges. Whatever you are going through is always better when there is a prayer cover in place.

Today I was in a waiting room at the hospital when I heard one woman say to another, “Good luck on your surgery. I know you are dreading it.” She then walked away leaving the woman alone with that last sentence hanging in the air.

You may be surrounded by people, but if those people don’t stand with you in prayer that speaks of hope, of the faithful promises of God, and in agreement for a positive outcome, you many feel very much alone.

When we pray for each other it lifts our burden. When our faith is joined with others, who are committed to standing with us, the entire situation is transformed. Believers who understand that praying is an assignment expect to see results. They are believing for a certain outcome and they will not be moved! Such is the power of praying in agreement.

This morning my husband Jack was having robotic kidney surgery, and at some point it became emergency surgery due to a bleeding renal artery. When I was informed about this, once he was in recovery, I knew for certain that all those faithful people praying had made a difference in Jack’s life, mine, and our family this day.

We praise God for those that believe in prayer. Who understand its impact, and who unselfishly take time to make our requests known to God. Bless you!

John 14:13-14 And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

Do our words speak of moving mountains or digging graves?

Where is compromise taking us?
