Do you celebrate the finest things of God?

You are called to be not of this world, or like this world, but set apart as the Lord’s inheritance. If you believe that your poverty gives God glory, then you are not living on truth, but out of a scarcity mentality. Do not allow what you see with your eyes, your circumstances, or your bank account to define the riches that are available to you. Do you not understand that whatever God calls you to do is already paid for in full? Instead, speak out of abundance and blessings. I wear fine clothes, I live in a fine house, and my Father has more than enough to meet all my needs, and wants.

The enemy of our souls wants us to believe that we need to live in lack in order to please God. Remember he is the father of all lies and his mandate is to deceive the children of God. He wants you to walk in guilt and condemnation. He wants you to give in to his taunting and to believe that when you ask God for the finer things in this life it is out of your sinful nature. Believe truth! You are no longer that nature. You have been redeemed and reconciled back to your Father through Jesus.

You and I must be a witness to truth. What should flow out of our mouths should be a declaration of our favor. Our Father owns the cattle on a thousand hills and those riches belong to us now, and for all eternity! What a promise!

Colossians 1:11-14 NKJV Strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and long-suffering with joy; giving things to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
