How often do we think about our senses and acknowledge how they are gates that the enemy uses for entry? I experienced first hand moments ago how blatant these attacks can occur as I was merely looking at a list of organizations that a very wealthy individual in our country supports. I felt a fiery dart of hate hit me when I saw that he supports infanticide. I knew immediately where it was coming from, I repented, and I prayed.
There are many words that people will use to soften the reality of truth to make others feel better. I am not one of those people.
The definition of infanticide is clear. It is the act of killing an infant, the practice of killing newborn infants, and even includes the person who kills an infant. I consider it to include the unborn as well. Certain states within our nation have taken off any protection of the child all the way to full term.
My eye gate took in that list briefly, I was attacked, and the righteousness of a holy God flooded my being.
Here is what is key. We need to be prepared, keep a guard over our heart, but not be ignorant of what is happening around us, or the strategies of the devil, and his minions. The Ecclesia of Jesus has been awakened and we must not slumber ever again. We must know who our enemy is, engage guards at our gates, especially the eye and ear, and remain steadfast holding onto our swords even when we sleep. The enemy is flooding the atmosphere with lies, hoping to take us off guard.
The truth is clear to those that have the eyes to see, and the hearts to know and understand. God is doing a mighty work across the entire world and it is good!
