Is validation leading to action?

A word from the Lord requires action. The question is simply, what are you doing to make that word a reality?

The children of God hear His voice. We hear the voice of God through His Word, through Holy Spirit, and through other believers. When we get a witness to what the Lord is saying, then we take action on these things. It is what we call faith in action, knowing that what we have heard is true, and acknowledging that it is worth pressing into because it is from God.

I have heard some very relevant things from the Lord for my life recently. These things witness to me, and have been spoken before. They are good things. However, they will not happen on their own. They require not only my acceptance, but they require my action.

For many years I have been taking action on these words, pressing in, and moving in the direction that God has made clear. Each time I walk obediently in that direction God brings more clarity to my path. What in the beginning was a narrow path has become wide throughout the years. The path has taken on more territory, and more significance. It has always had fruit, but now that fruit is more abundant, and of a different variety.

Psalm 119:60 I give my all to follow your revelation—light; I will not delay to obey.
