What is being required of you today?

I believe that we are in a growing season. It is true that life is sprouting up all around us, but I am speaking of those things that are unseen. These are the deeper callings that are growing out of our obedience, endurance, and faith.

God has written all of our days in a book. It is a book that is older than the foundation of the world. How old I could not say, but old! What I do know is that God’s own hand has written in our book, and I emphasize a book, not a page. God has put into us all we need to fulfill all that He wrote in our book, which means that from the very beginning He has purposed that we would be successful.

Everything in this life, even that which has been birthed in the heavenly realm, is dependent on us. We have free will to either pursue our destiny, or just let it slip away.

What is being required of me today is simple. I sense the need to take stock. To look and see where I am in relation to my calling. If I am on track then I am happy, and if I am not, then why not? Whether I am rejoicing, or taking immediate action to remedy the situation, I know what is required. Obedience becomes critical, and I learned a long time ago that obedience is what I want to be pursuing all the days of my life.

Micah 6:8 NKJV He has shown you, o man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

How will we handle the separation?
