Is there an elephant in the room?

How do you miss an elephant in the room? Impossible! Yet, we have all been in situations where we know that what needs to be said is not being said. The air is thick with this thing that just seems to linger. It is something that few would find comfortable.

So, what do we do? My first impression when this is the case is to pray. I ask Holy Spirit to move and do what only He can do. I ask that the timing be perfect, and that my heart be right. In fact, that is the first thing that I want to do. I want my heart to be right and my intentions to be pure.

When situations are difficult it is not unusual for people to want to get their point across, or to be in the most favorable position. We have been taught to see a right and a wrong, seldom is grace brought in to ease the tension. Blame just makes everything worse, and as children of God we know that Jesus is not behind condemnation. The father of lies stirs things up to keep people apart. His motives will always be counter to those of God because there is nothing good in him. The devils desire will always be to leave people worse off than they were before.

Grace is totally disarming when used for the right reasons, those of reconciliation, and those of showing the love of God. Love brings down walls, it repairs what has been broken, and it creates an atmosphere of healing. Holy Spirit is the Spirit of truth and He will always work everything to bring lasting peace.

Let’s take care of that elephant!

2 Corinthians 5:18-19 TPT And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God. In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God.

Is it possible that we can live in a fallen world and not be fallen ourselves?

Are we laughing enough?
