How often we are blinded to what is really going on around us. We may think that we are focused on the right things, but what if we are missing an important element? What if our focus needed to be expanded a long time ago, but we have gotten stuck?
In my time with the Lord I was recently made aware of how we can miss it. What I heard in my spirit was an admonition to be alert to the big picture. Don’t look at the small disruptions and distractions of the day. Look for the bigger impactful picture of what Holy Spirit is showing you. Look for the meaning behind the meaning.
This will come through His interpretation. It will require asking the right questions and then waiting for the answers. We must not run ahead or fall behind. These days need to be stewarded well. Meaning what we are overseeing, managing, and even regulating. It means we are listening for direction, and walking in obedience to what we have heard. Accuracy is vitally important!
1 Corinthians 2:15 But the spiritual man (the spiritually mature Christian) judges all things (questions, examines, and applies what Holy Spirit reveals) yet is himself judged by no man (the unbelievers cannot judge and understand the believers spiritual nature).
