I began this blog in 2018. If you have not previously navigated the website to read the About and Meet Barbara, I encourage you to take a minute and do so. It will give you important background as to why this blog exists. But, this particular post is not to primarily direct you there, but to bring forth insight that is useful for everyone. That insight relates to the question, “What have you learned along the way?”
Since I began writing in 2018, much has changed, and with that change has come much revelation. In essence when things change, we change. I am more mature and my voice has taken on an increased authority. Honestly, even my writing has gotten better. Thank You, Jesus! He is so good!
Six years out has me doing what I proposed in 2018, and doing it more effectively. I thought I was bold then, and I was, but that has increased exponentially. When I say bold I mean in authority, wisdom, discernment, and the other spiritual gifts. I am not arrogant, but I know who I am. There is indeed a difference. God does not grow arrogance and pride, but He does grow us through submission and obedience.
Isaiah 43:19 Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, now it will forth spring; will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, rivers in a desert.
