Are you prepared to enter in?

There is nothing timid about the marketplace. It is a place that is both exhilarating and intimidating. Exhilarating in that you get to experience the sights and sounds of people and what they have to offer. Intimidating in a broader sense, if you are overwhelmed by what you see, and the people you meet. But for me the best way to describe the marketplace experience is unending potential. There are so many people who are from different backgrounds and cultures all in one place.

When you enter into this place of commerce, you are entering into a world where buying and selling has become an art form, an essential piece of everyday life, and one which most people will engage in daily.

For the child of God, there is a greater good that is at stake. Each time we enter into this place, we are reminded of how vast is the mind of God, who has created in His image a world of people who are all unique in their appearance and character. We have the opportunity, actually the Bible calls it our commission, to reach out to people with the love of Christ, and by doing so, they can encounter the One they so desperately need.

What a wonderful blessing we are to those that need what we have. Don’t miss your opportunity! Look and see God at work and join Him!

2 Peter 3:15 Amplified Bible

But in your hearts set Christ apart [as holy—acknowledging Him, giving Him first place in your lives] as Lord. Always be ready to give a [logical] defense to anyone who asks you to account for the hope and confident assurance [elicited by faith] that is within you, yet [do it] with gentleness and respect.

What have you learned along the way?

Do you sense the Lord keeping you undercover?
