Are you sensing that justice is in the air?

Along with several other women, I have been standing in agreement that a mutual friend will see justice in regard to her grandson. This has been a season of continually crying out to the Lord. This friend of mine has been the woman in Luke 18:1-5 who would not give up and who persistently sought justice.

It is a powerful statement when you will not give up, continually ask for justice to be done, and remain steadfast until you see that justice manifest in your life. Recently, I heard it taught that when we ask of the Lord, as in Ask, Seek, and Knock, that the ask is actually to make a demand. This was a teaching that my spirit immediately sought agreement with, and I have not let go of its truth.

If in fact, we are asking, seeking, knocking for the door to be opened to us, for the mountain to be cast into the sea, then we must be willing to come boldly into the throne room and demand justice.

We demand in our God given authority that God show Himself true to His Word, for He is not a man that He should lie. As we ask to receive from God, we are doing so with the upmost respect for His holiness, but we are firm in our request. We are not there as an outsider, but as a son or daughter of God.

Jesus has made our inheritance valid, and we stand firm in its authority. We can speak as a child of God because we are one! We can come to the Father and He will hear our complaint. He is our Father and He will listen to us. Not only will He listen, He will move heaven and earth on our behalf, and that is justice!

Luke 18:6-8 Then the Lord said, “Listen to what the unjust judge says. Will not God grant justice to His elect who cry out to Him day and night? Will He delay helping them? I tell you that He will swiftly grant them justice.

Is Emmanuel showing Himself to you in this season?
