Isaiah 9:6 “For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on His shoulders. He will be named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. The dominion will be vast, and its prosperity will never end. He will reign on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish and sustain it with justice and righteousness from now on and forever. The zeal of the Lord of Armies will accomplish this.”
Psalm 89:14-18 Righteousness and justice are the foundation of Your throne; faithful love and truth go before You. Happy are the people who know the joyful shout; Lord, they walk in the light from Your face. They rejoice in Your name all day long, and they are exalted by Your righteousness. For You are their magnificent strength; by Your favor our horn is exalted. Surely our shield belongs to the Lord, our king to the Holy One of Israel.
God’s Word declares His intention and His character. There will never be one mightier than our God. No one can take His place. Nothing can defeat or thwart what He has put into place. In all the heavens and on this earth there is none greater than Jesus.
Our peace is with the Prince of Peace, our Counselor will never leave us wanting, our Mighty God is eternally victorious. His justice, righteousness, and faithful love will always bind us to our Eternal Father. Hallelujah!
